Remus Gatsby Reserve 2025 is an ultra-limited 15-year-old Straight Bourbon Whiskey produced at Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The 2025 edition commemorates the 100th anniversary of the publication of The Great Gatsby and is bottled at cask strength at 51.4% ABV (102.8 proof).
Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, grilled steak, aged cheddar, roasted nuts, pecan pie and dark chocolate.
Tasting Notes: A mature, oak-forward bourbon with rich cherry, raisin, molasses, vanilla and warming rye spice.
Nose: Cherry, vanilla and creamy mature oak.
Palate: Cherry, raisin and molasses with pipe tobacco, Armagnac-like richness and seasoned oak.
Finish: Long and warming with lingering spice, mature oak and dark-fruit sweetness.
